Royal Govenor's Mansion Complex - Located in Gassium, Saudi Arabia.  Project Irrigation System cost $ 2,500,000 US Dollars in 1984.  Installation included included 4 Pump Stations, 4 Fountain's, Irrigation for more then 1,000,000 sq meters.
King Fisals Royal Family Hospital Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  This system was designed and installed for 87 Doctor's Villa's, cost of the Sprinkler System was 1.5 Million Dollar's.
Another shot of the Royal Governor's Mansion.  This project was 1000 meter's square.  Total cost for this Sprinkler System was 2.5 Million Dollars.
We finished installing this project at 5 pm the last day of the contract.  Picture shows my foreman adjusting the last sprinkler head on the project. This was a very good thing because had we not finished on time the Saudi's put the Project Manager in Jail until the job is done! I was the "PROJECT MANAGER".

SPRINKLER SYSTEM DESIGN WORK
I was awarded by the Ministry of Youth Welfare the contract to; design all the Profession Soccer Sports Fields in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  We designed and installed 28 soccer fields for the Ministry of Youth Welfare through-out the Kingdom!

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: 
Positions held - "Director of Irrigation" of:

1)Obal Company: Toro Master Wholesale Distributor-(Largest Irrigation Design Team in the Middle East 1982-1983, site supervised 120-man installation crew and supplied Toro Irrigation materials throughout Saudi Arabia. Note: I hired and trained a 10-man Irrigation Design Agency in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 

2)Building Materials Trading Company, Rain Bird Master Wholesale Distributor-(Largest Irrigation Design Team in the Middle East 1983-1984, site supervised 120-man installation crew and supplied Rain Bird Irrigation materials throughout Saudi Arabia. (I took my Irrigation Design Team with me when I changed companies.) 

Projects Completed in Saudi Arabia:
1)King Kalaid University – 7-million-dollar irrigation system, designed & installed this project.

2)King Fahad International Airport – rebuilt entire project to resolve maintenance errors.
    Note: British Maintenance Company ran "Acid" through the two (2) Reverse-Osmosis Filters 
    and totally destroyed the Kodak filter membrane's and over 1 million Bow Smith Drip Emitters, 
    along with all the diaphragms in all the irrigation zone valves. We were sub-contracted to 
    remove and replace all the destroyed equipment.

3)Diplomatic Quarter - largest landscape/irrigation site in the world to date (350 Embassies  
    & Housing for families & support staff). I designed and/or installed 52 of the 350+ embassies 
    plus I develop the Maxi-Com Automatic Control System for the Diplomatic Quarter with Rain 
    Bird. This site was so large we had to install two (2) Maxi-Com packages.

4) Pro-Soccer Sports Fields – my designs were selected by the Ministry of Youth Welfare and 
    used exclusively throughout Saudi Arabia on all their professional Soccer fields. My company 
    designed & installed over 28 Professional Sports fields, cost per field an average of $500,000. 

5) King Fisals Hospital – Riyadh SA – $1.5 million-dollar irrigation system.

6) Tubook Desalination Plant – $1.2 million-dollar irrigation system.

7) Royal Governor’s Mansion in Al Qasim Saudi Arabia, $4.5 million-dollar project in 1984. 

8) King and Royal Family Palaces, designed and installed 14 palaces, size 2-3 million dollars.

9) Military City in Jabail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Housing area for 50,000 soldiers  
    and their families.

THIS IS VERY BRIEF LIST OF PROJECTS I DID IN SAUDI.  IN TOTAL I DESIGNED AND/OR INSTALLED OVER 50 MILLION DOLLARS IN IRRIGATION SYSTEM IN MY 3 YEARS, WHICH I LIVED AND WORKED IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA.  FINALLY, I WAS EMPLOYED DIRECTLY BY KING FAHAD AND WAS THE DIRECTOR OF THE IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT FOR B.M.T.C. THE RAIN BIRD MASTER DISTRIBUTORSHIP FOR THE ENTIRE MIDDLE EAST - SEE REFERENCE LETTERS FROM TORO AND RAIN BIRD.
